✏️ Here are some sketches from last week’s sketch-along. We drew UNICORNS! We really dug into horse anatomy and I finally got the hang of it by the end of the hour. I even broke out the collage papers 😍✏️

Forest creatures. OOOooooo! So magical, so mysterious, so… foresty? 🧚♀️
This month is all about drawing different mythical creatures as a homage to the classic art challenge, Mermay! And this cool sketch theme came as a suggestion from a VIPer! It was so fun to think about what constitutes mythical forest creatures from flower fairies to Miyazaki-style ancient elk creatures to scary tree spirits. This week we’ll focus on having fun, stretching our mythical sketching brain, and getting some forest creature inspiration!
